THE BROTHERS GOLD in a LIVE CINEMA MUSICAL
Directed by ARI GOLD
Featuring the Original Song “Brothers Keep Goin’ Anyway” by ETHAN GOLD

100% on Rotten Tomatoes

An improvised musical presented in one unbroken shot. Twin musicians Ari and Ethan Gold hunt San Francisco for love, a gig and their dying father, a 99-year-old Beat writer. On their odyssey they try to finish a song for him, until Ethan reworks it for the separation they know is coming. The movie plays out in 90 minutes of “Live Cinema,” according to the precepts of Executive Producer Francis Ford Coppola, delivering a real-time journey through San Francisco's North Beach, toward one final performance, captured just weeks before their father’s death.

“What Brother Verses Brother manages to put on screen is nothing like any film I’ve seen…. A ninety-minute single-take musical that does more to levitate the spirits of the viewer than a hundred Wickeds ever could…. Rarely do I feel privileged to have seen a film, but after watching Brother Verses Brother… I am honored.” - Screen Anarchy
